DAY OF THE DEAD.

Back in the summer Joe Marques had an idea for a shoot: Day of the Dead. After a couple of days of scouting, meetings with the crew, we set out to build a our version of Mexican holiday.

Here's the team that was there that day.

ME, THE GIRLS (and Dave).

I mentioned before how much I appreciate working with Ottawa Magazine. In the past years we've been able to develop ideas into great photos. This summer was the first time they joined me on the shoot. Art Director, Jane Corbett, wanted to have a peek at the process and it helped out. We were able to nail down some angles, knowing how they would end up in the magazine.

We also had a great team to work with. Erica Wark was the stylist for Neighbourhood Watch, which featured local designers Rachel Sin and Frank Sukhoo and jewellery from Pish Posh. I had photographed Erica in the past and knew she was everywhere when it comes to Ottawa Fashion. Know I know why, she's great to work with.

I don't always take time to mention everyone who works on the photos, but I thought I would this time. There's hardly a time where the photographer is the only person producing the photo. Here's the gang for Neighbourhood Watch.
